What
Bramble AI transcribes sessions in real time. Last year we transcribed 67,409,569 words, 54,124 resources and 507,029 typed annotations across 31,002 hours of online tutoring. Analysing those transcripts provides insight in to what topics are being tutored across subjects.
Are there differences in when topics are discussed throughout the year? And how does this compare across countries? Any differences we see here may indicate particular topics students struggle with or tell us about difference between syllabuses. Our UK data is best suited to this analysis as we know exactly when exams are taking place.

When
We expected to see seasonality throughout the course of the year, although it was interesting how noticable events like Christmas and Easter are. We also wondered if there was a particular day of the week that tutoring tends to take place on? Or a particular time of day? Finally, we looked at how long online tutoring sessions tend to be.
Who
Online tutoring is the future. The question has always been: when is that future going to arrive? Over the course of the last year, we've seen people in 2,203 different towns and cities, from Tokyo to Toronto and San Juan to Sydney, tutoring online. We've seen others opt for online tutoring despite living down the road from each other. Power users are racking up hundreds of hours across marathon sessions, whilst some agencies are generating six figure revenues online.
