Pearson partners with Bramble to support pupils through the National Tutoring Programme

Pearson is partnering with Bramble’s live online tutoring platform as part of its National Tutoring Programme (NTP) work to help pupils catch up on learning lost during the pandemic.
Pearson, the world’s learning company, was among the 32 providers announced last week as approved NTP Tuition Partners that will deliver 75% subsidised tutoring to schools across England.
Primary and secondary schools in England are able to access tutoring through Pearson and other NTP tuition partners to support their pupils whose learning has been most affected by school closures.
Schools will be able to buy blocks of tutoring in English, Maths and Science at GCSE and English and Maths at KS2, submitting their requirements and selecting their Pearson-screened and trained tutors online using the Bramble platform. Tutoring will be available predominantly for small groups.
Pearson will deliver its online tutoring sessions using Bramble’s live online tutoring platform. Bramble’s searchable lesson recordings feature, which turn the words spoken by educator and student into powerful transcripts that can be used for revision and safeguarding, will provide students with a powerful revision resource to support their learning. The platform also creates automatic synopses of what was covered in each session, giving teachers a clear view of what their students are working on with tutors.
Bramble has delivered more than 640,000 hours of online tutoring in more than 160 countries.
